Canary Islands consists mainly of four major islands key, surrounded by dozens of small islands scattered around, a Guenaria Island (which is known like that Gran Canaria name) Lanzarote & La Palma, though the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife is located in Tenerife Island but Guenaria Island is the largest of larger and most extensive, with an area of approximately 1.532 square kilometers, and is almost circular shape, and height of the water surface in some areas up to more than two thousand meters
These islands consist of several small villages, some of which turned into cities, thanks to the proliferation of tourist resorts along the beaches, which turned into a destination for foreign and domestic tourism thanks to the degrees of permanent temperature moderation throughout the year, which ranged between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. Whole islands of volcanic nature and tops, hedged rocky beaches, the highest peak in the archipelago are Ted summit (3.718 m) in Tenerife.
Canary Islands area of 7.447 km² (thirteenth largest region in terms of area in Spain).
