Bora Bora


Is an island of the Leeward Islands archipelago which is a part of society in French Polynesia of France in the Pacific Ocean. The island, 230 kilometers (140 miles) north-west of Papeete, surround the island and lake barrier coral reefs. The island is mainly composed of the remnants of dormant volcanoes rise to two peaks, Mount Bahia and Mount Oeetmano, the highest elevation on the island Faisal to 727 meters (2,385 feet). The original name of the island in the Tahitian language is Pora Pora, meaning "First Born".

The larger presence of the population is in Vitapa on the west side of the island, opposite the main channel of the lake. Island products are mostly confined to the marine products and crops coconut trees and fruit.
