the paradise and crowned cranes are

 two of the lovelist members of this 

family of stately birds . whilst it does not

possess any bright colours , the paradise

crane with its long trailing feathers must 

be one of the most graceful of all birds .

it comes from south africa as do the 

crowned cranes , which are also found 

in east and west africa .
