The Polar Bear largest land mammal carnivores currently, and ranks with the Kodiak bear (Ursus arctos middendorffi, a brown bear strains) on the two biggest bears undisputed. Although these animals are considered close to brown bears, but they have developed a pattern in life much narrower than private by her relatives that, where it became a lot of physical characteristics adaptable to life in the low-temperature environment, and for walking on snow, ice, swimming in open water, and hunting seals which constitute the majority of her diet. [4] Although most polar bears breed on land, but they spend most of their time to the sea, hence the scientific name, which means "sea bear", as hunt down the sea ice, where to spend much of the year.
