Mount Yasur is an active volcano on Tanna Island, which lies south of the Pacific Ocean, and this volcano is one of a number of volcanoes located on the Pacific Ocean along the Mount Yasur and rises to about 361 meters above sea level.
Since more than half a century volcano Mount Yasur is still active and burning so far classified the explosions that occur several times per hour of low-type, was the island discovered by Captain James Cook by the glow of the volcano, which was radiating from the island during the first European voyage to the island in 1774
